Some basic home assembly is required and the transformer is included. The control box is attached to the bottom of the tree. The coulor changing wheel comes seepreate from the tree however attaches on to the bottom of the tree. There is also two wires that are attached to the colour changing wheel and one cable attaches to control box and the other attaches onto the transformer cable.
